I loved every minute of writing this book and fell deeply in love with Cole and Shane. Cole was inspired by a character in a coming-of-age, bi-awakening book. It had an HEA, but my twisted brain thought—what if in twenty years, Cole had married his high school love but he’d died? (Cole was not the character’s name in the inspiration book and I changed his background) I wondered how he’d handle losing his soulmate. What type of man would he need to heal, and who would understand his pain? Enter my sweet-baby Shane. They are prefect for each other, and I hope you love reading about them as much as I loved writing them. I dedicated this book to everyone trying to find your person. The person who loves you exactly the way you are and fills your soul. Thank you so much for considering reading The Truth of Loving You.

He’s the worst mistake I’m dying to make

Shane:

Rule # 1 - Don’t touch the boss’s disavowed son. It doesn’t matter that he’s the only man I’ve ever been attracted to, or that he silences the chaos in my brain. He will ruin my meticulous plans and upend my life. Love means heartbreak and disaster—two things I won’t allow in my life. Too bad there’s no logic in love.

Cole:

My heart has been frozen since my husband died, but Shane’s sparks set it on fire. He’s the last man I should want and everything I never knew I needed. Shane is slowly becoming the most important person in my life, despite my efforts to stay away from him. I crave him and might not care if I go down in flames.

The Truth of Loving You is an LBGTQ MM romance with a bisexual awakening. Tropes: age-gap, second chance at love, off-limits, friends with benefits, soulmates, opposites attract, possessive obsession, and  mental health representation, and spanking.
